Father Daughter Dance Lexington,SC 2016

How Sweet is this??!! My older daughter and husband went to a Father-Daughter Dance years ago at her old school in Florida and i thought it was one of the most memorable things she had done with her dad! I still have the photo hanging in the house! I was thinking of contacting my youngest girls school and asking if they would consider doing this as a school fundraiser. So I  was very pleased to see this flyer at the Lexington Public Main Library yesterday!! Here is the thing...even if you your child does not have a father in their life they could always go with a brother,uncle,grandpa,or friend of family! Anyone special will work!  Check out the Library Site to buy tickets. I am so excited for my lil one to experience this with her dad. It's going to be her Vday gift this yr!

 

The Friends of Lexington Main Library announce the tenth annual Lexington Father/Daughter Valentine’s Dance on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm in the cafeteria at Lexington High School, 2463 Augusta Highway, Lexington, SC 29072.

The dance will provide fathers and grandfathers an opportunity to create a special memory for their daughters or granddaughters while supporting the reading center at the Lexington Main Library.

The dance is for fathers and daughters of all ages.  With a Valentine’s theme, the dance will include wholesome music, flowers and sweet treats. There will be catered appetizers and desserts available and corsages are often purchased for the girls. Each daugther will receive a pink carnation at the end of the evening to remember the special night. Sunday dress is recommended.

All benefits of the evening will support the Children’s Section of the Lexington Main Library.

Tickets are $30 per couple with $10.00 for each additional daughter ticket.  Tickets are available for advance purchase at the Lexington Main Library, 5440 Augusta Road Lexington, SC 29072, for Cash or Check only, but are also available to purchase online.
